OUR BISTRO

Harveys Bar + Bistro resides in the heart of James St, Brisbane. Chef-Owner PJ McMillan has crafted seasonal breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus using local ingredients and seasonal produce here since 2007. Surrounded by enveloping tropical foliage our bistro offers modern dining options – the patio, dining room and for private dining, the Garden Room.

Our breakfast welcomes a sophisticated spin on morning classics, catering to sweet and savoury tastes until 11:30am daily. From land and sea to your table, our all-day menu highlights premium proteins and fresh harvests across a selection of snacks, charcuterie, mains and desserts. The menu can be enjoyed daily from 11:30am for lunch, and Tuesday to Saturday for dinner.

 The dining room borders James St, where expansive windows frame views of the streetscape, creating an inviting, light-filled atmosphere for meals with a view. The outdoor patio offers alfresco dining fully weather-protected for comfort – we are in Queensland, after all – with lush greenery providing a natural, intimate screen from the bustling streetscape. The Garden Room is a private dining space reserved for events or large groups of up to 34 people.
